  1. The major new features of this release (1.0.2) involve SMTP (email) capabilities.  There are two primary features that involve email.

  3. 1) If you properly configure the settings dialog, TrashScan can send you alert emails if problems arise.  Look at the manual if you have any questions.

  5. 2) TrashScan can help you send email complaints about scanners.  Just double click on the listing of the scan you want to report in the second (quick log) box.  A new window will open up.  It will attempt to find contact information from the Network Abuse Clearinghouse, then set up a template message for you.  You can customize this message if you want.

  15. Release 1.0.3 is primarily a bug fix.  Fixed an annoying message about SuperSocket.  This was an internal problem in TrashScan, which did not affect operation of the program.  TrashScan does not expire.
